Embark in Newport, New England's popular summer resort famous for historic colonial homes, scenic oceanfront and renowned restaurants. A favorite place for the rich and famous since the 1880s, Newport is the gem of the New England coast.
Spend the day enjoying beautiful Block Island scenery while being active. Block Island is a popular summer destination for hiking, fishing, and cycling. It also is a great place for enjoying fantastic beaches and magnificent cliff-top views.
Leave Block Island and cruise through Elizabeth Islands to reach Cuttyhunk, the outermost of them. Occupied since 1602, Cuttyhunk is the first English settlement in New England. Nowadays most of the island is a nature reserve, which makes it a great destination for both nature lovers and history enthusiasts.
The next stop is Martha’s Vineyard. Located south of Cape Cod, this island is blessed with outstanding natural beauty and unforgettable summer colony charm. Accessible only by boat and air, it's a small paradise with beautiful beaches, picturesque cliffs at Gay Head and great shopping.
Leave Martha's Vineyard for Nantucket Island to enjoy cycling, pristine beaches, and historical landmarks. Make sure you visit the famous striped Sankaty Lighthouse and take a look at huge sand dune cliffs. In addition to that, there are plenty of opportunities for having a great meal on Nantucket, but make sure to call early to get a table.
The next stop is Hyannis, a popular village on the Cape Cod peninsula. Hyannis is known for its beaches and the private Kennedy Compound at Hyannis Port. While there, you may like to visit JFK Hyannis museum in the Old Town Hall, stroll down Kalmus Beach, go on a sightseeing tour or just watch the yachts in the harbor.
Back in Newport, enjoy your final breakfast on board before you disembark.
Embark in Nassau, the capital city of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The city is a great destination for experiencing the Bahamas' deep history and unique culture. Recognized by UNESCO as a city of Crafts and Folk Art, Nassau is the perfect place to experience the Caribbean spirit.
Spend the day watching Rock Iguanas in Allen's Cay. The island can only be accessed by boat, so you'll get a chance to enjoy nature as it is. The iguanas in Allen's Cay are very friendly and are going to wait for you on the beach because they are accustomed to tourists giving them fruit.
Located in the Northern Exumas, Highbourne Cay is famous as the gateway to the Exuma Cays. This privately-owned island welcomes yachts to its first-class marina. It boasts luxurious accommodation, fine dining and has eight pristine beaches.
Leave Highbourne Cay to Norman's Cay, a small island in the Exumas. It's famous for its captivating drug smuggling history with its events unraveling between 1978 and 1982. Norman's Cay is also known for a Curtiss C-46 Commando that crashed in its shallow water during the 1980s. These days you can snorkel around the wreckage.
Spend the day exploring Shroud Cay in a dinghy or snorkeling. This uninhibited archipelago of cays and rocks is owned by Exuma Park and is a true gem. The white-sand beaches are amazing and completely unspoiled thanks to the Park's "take nothing, leave nothing" policy.
Compass Cay is considered one of the most beautiful places in the Bahamas. Its marina is located in one of the very few completely protected harbors. You also get to visit Staniel Cay, a Bahamas National Trust protected area. There you can go snorkeling, sea kayaking, relax on white sand beaches and even watch the famous swimming pigs on Pig Beach!
Take it easy on the final day of your yacht charter and disembark in Nassau after a luxurious breakfast on board.
Optional: start in Staniel Cay
